Vote for the Climate Future We Need

I pledge to be a Climate Voter. I recognize the urgent need to address climate change for the well-being of our planet and all living beings, including current and future generations. I commit to making my vote count toward a thriving, just, and sustainable future for all. As a Climate Voter, I will:

  • Live my values by making daily choices that reflect my commitment to environmental stewardship, reducing my carbon footprint, supporting renewable energy, conserving natural resources, and promoting social equity.
  • Inspire and educate by talking openly about why voting matters for climate progress, sharing accurate information, encouraging respectful dialogue, and inviting others to participate.
  • Prioritize climate by learning about ballot measures and candidates’ positions, plans, and records on climate action, and voting for policies and leadership that support effective, science-based, and equitable climate solutions.
  • Combat voter suppression by knowing my rights, sharing accurate voting information, helping others navigate the voting process, and reporting misinformation, barriers, or intimidation when they occur.
  • Stay engaged beyond Election Day by staying informed, asking questions, participating in public life, and helping hold leaders accountable for the climate commitments they make.

I pledge to be a responsible voter who understands that democracy and climate action are deeply connected. My vote is a tool to protect public health, strengthen communities, and help secure a livable future.

By taking the Climate Voter Pledge, I affirm that democracy and climate action are deeply connected, and that my vote can help protect public health, strengthen communities, and build a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
